How it works

Finally, the IBC requires a minimum quarter-inch-per-foot slope on new low-slope roofs; dead-flat decks are brought to that slope with tapered insulation or sprayed foam, and roofs that pond for more than 48 hours after rain void most manufacturer warranties.
