Accuracy standards

Every formula is sourced from regulators, standards bodies or official product documentation. Sources are noted on each calculator's reference section.

Content review process

New calculators go through draft → review → published states. Each stage records the reviewer and timestamp.

Calculator validation

We test calculators against published examples and reference implementations. Edge cases (zero, negative, large inputs) are explicitly checked.

Update policy

Calculators and articles are re-reviewed at least annually, and immediately when underlying rates, tax brackets or regulations change.

Editors & reviewers

Coverage is produced and reviewed by our Editorial Team, Personal Finance Editor, Retirement Planning Researcher, Mortgage & Lending Analyst and Investment Content Reviewer.
